Four days of art exploration for ages 8 and up! Two projects per day with a Sea Life theme. Young artists learn different artistic mediums, express themselves, and have lots of fun! They will even learn about the science behind making pottery. Step by step instruction by our experienced artists and potters.
7/29 - Painting Sea Life apron, and Spin Art pottery wheel bowl
7/30 - Dory painting on canvas, and Octopus Mug sculpting (part 1)
7/31 - Mason jar painting Pineapple House, and Mug sculpting (part 2)
8/1 - Bubble Glaze plate, and Sea LIfe themed ceramic painting
Please provide a snack and beverage for a mid-afternoon break each day. Aprons will be provided but paint & clay may get on clothing.
Sorry, no exceptions on age requirement.
This event will be located inside our air conditioned studio. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 12pm.
Students will be asked to return 2 weeks after the camp to paint their sculptures with pottery glazes. No appointment needed and no additional charge.
Their pottery will be fired in our kiln again and ready to be picked up 2 weeks after being painted with glazes.
Pottery is held for 90 days after the camp.
