Pressed Leaf Wheel Workshop, Sat. 4/19, 12-2pm
In this studio favorite, you will be using 3 pounds of clay to create a larger bowl while following step by step instructions. Then press your choice of leaves or pine branches into the clay to make your own design! We will supply leaves but you are welcome to bring your own as well, even shamrocks! Your pottery will take time to dry. Then it will be fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your piece with glaze in your choice of colors (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln for a final firing! Your piece will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Ready 2 weeks after painting. Ages 10 and up.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 12pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Aprons are provided, but clay may get on clothing and shoes.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
