Planter w/Dish Wheel Workshop, Weds. 4/9, 6-8pm
Create a large planter on the pottery wheel by hand! Your planter will have holes at the base and a drainage dish attached at the bottom. You will learn how to center 3 pounds of clay on the wheel, and the basics of throwing pottery into your desired shape. After the workshop, your piece will take time to air dry. Then it will be fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your planter with glazes in your choice of colors and design (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln one more time and will be ready 2 weeks after painting it. A beautiful piece to add to your home, inside or out! Ages 10 and up welcome.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Aprons are provided, but clay may get on clothing and shoes.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
