In this studio favorite, you will be using 3 pounds of clay to create a planter while following step by step instructions. Then press your choice of leaves or flowers into the clay! We will supply leaves but you are welcome to bring your own greenery as well. Your pottery will take time to dry. Then it will be fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your piece with glaze in your choice of colors (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln for a final firing! Your piece will be waterproof and safe to use inside or out. Ready 2 weeks after painting. Ages 10 and up.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Aprons are provided, but clay may get on clothing and shoes.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
