Hogwarts Door Sculpting Workshop, Fri. 10/11, 6-8pm
Sculpt your own style of Hogwarts Door for Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Slytherin! Use slab clay and hand building techniques taught by our Kil’n It professors. They will magically transform you into a Potter! Choose from shapes, patterns, and letter stamps to conjure up your own style. Your piece will take time to dry. Then it goes into the fiery chambers of our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your Hogwarts Door with colorful pottery glazes (no additional cost and no appt. needed). Then your pottery is succumbed into the depths of the kiln for a final firing, where it is transformed to repel water. Wizards 8 and up, and muggles are welcome!
Note: This workshop is sculpting clay at a table, not on the pottery wheel.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Aprons are provided, but clay may get on clothing and shoes.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
