Fox Dish Sculpting Workshop, Thurs. 10/3, 6-8pm
Sculpt a cozy Fox all snuggled in for the winter! This dish is perfect for serving, or as decoration. Your Fox Dish will measure approx. 10" across. Use slab clay and hand building techniques taught by our experienced potters with step by step instruction. Choose from shapes, patterns, and even lettering to create your own style. Once your pieces are dry, they are fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your Fox Dish with colorful pottery glazes (no additional cost and no appt. needed). Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing so that it’s dishwasher/microwave/oven proof and food safe. Ready 2 weeks after painting. Ages 8 and up welcome!
Note: This workshop is sculpting clay at a table, not on the pottery wheel.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled, as instruction will begin promptly at 6pm.
Late arrival of 20 minutes or more will be considered a cancellation without refund.
Registrations are closed 2 hours prior to the workshop so that we can prepare materials.
Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+.
