Policies and Terms
Adult Parties
For booking a private party, the host’s admission is their non-refundable deposit to confirm the event.
A minimum of eight (8) pre-registered people are required for a private party.
Cancellation is required 48 hours prior to the time of the party for a refund, excluding the deposit.
Soft drinks and food items are welcome to be brought in by customers. Please bring disposable products to use. A small refrigerator and microwave will be available. We do not supply any utensils, cups, plates, or napkins. There are many establishments nearby that provide take out food service. We keep an assortment of menus at the front desk.
Beer and wine are welcome to be brought in by adults 21 years of age and older. Hard liquor is not permitted in the studio, by law. Bottle openers and cork screws will be available, along with a small refrigerator. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside of the studio, including smoking area.
Tipsy Paint Brush and Kil’n It Pottery are responsible for checking ID’s, and refusing service to any customers that are visibly intoxicated.
Late arrival of 30 minutes without any notification will cause your party to cancel and no refund will be given.
Children’s Parties
The minimum age for children’s parties is 8 years old.
A maximum of 2 adults are permitted to attend children’s parties to oversee up to 12 children. 3 adults are permitted to oversee up to 20 children, and 4 adults are permitted for parties of over 20 children. If the adults are participating in the activity, they will be required to pay admission. Otherwise, their admission is free.
A deposit of 25% is required to book a children’s party, and is non-refundable. Payment in full is required 48 hours prior to the party date/time.

Poor Weather
In the case of inclement weather to cause unsafe driving conditions in our vicinity, events will be cancelled or rescheduled. Your admission can be credited to another event, or a full refund can be issued.
We will post notifications on our web sites and social media of any cancellations.
Cancellations
Admission: We require notification at least 24 hours prior to the event in order to receive a full refund or rescheduling to another event.
Parties: We require notification at least 48 hours prior to the time of the party to reschedule, or for a full refund excluding the non-refundable deposit.
Instructor Cancellation: In the rare case that we need to cancel, you will be notified at least 24 hours prior to the date and time, and your admission will be refunded or credited to another event. In the case of a private party, either your event can be rescheduled, or all admissions and your deposit will be refunded, and you (the host) will receive free admission to another event.
Safety Guidelines
In the unfortunate case where damage is caused to our products, property, or equipment by the customer, it is their responsibility to cover those costs.
We are not responsible for any personal property that customers bring into the studio.
In the unfortunate event of an accident caused by the customer’s behalf, we are not liable for any injuries the accident caused.
Pottery Guidelines
Please allow 2 weeks from the date on your receipt for us to fire your pottery in the kiln. Call ahead to confirm that your order is ready. Customers are required to show their receipt when picking up their order.
Customers are required to pick up their pottery orders within 1 month from the time it is taken out of the kiln. Otherwise the order will be discarded if we do not receive notification within that time period. This includes all pieces pre-made on the shelf or hand made pieces.
If a customer’s piece is damaged on our behalf, they will receive a full refund along with a 25% discount on their next visit.
Once the pottery leaves our studio, we are not responsible for any issues regarding the piece. We encourage you to check the quality of your piece before leaving our studio so that we may assist you in correcting it.
